If you are a fashion lover and want to stay on top of the hottest trends for the upcoming seasons then the Toronto Fashion Week was the place to be. The 2014 World MasterCard Fashion Week was held from March 17th – 21st. This event brings together some of Canada’s best designers to showcase their creations for the year ahead.
This year brides-to-be were able to get a sneak peak at some hot bridal wear as Toronto designer David Dixon debuted his bridal collection “White Label” on the runway. David Dixon is known for his contemporary evening wear for women, which has now been extended to his creative bridal wear line. His bridal wear collection is far from traditional; instead he showcases vintage glamour and pastels.
Today’s brides are moving away from the heavy, princess, ball gown type dresses. Instead they are looking for bridal attire that is comfortable yet glamorous. Dixon’s collection looks very light weight which allows for movement and allowing the bride to let loose and have fun at her wedding.
This bridal wear line was designed for Kleinfeld, a name that is familiar to those fans of “Say Yes to the Dress”. You can now say yes to your dress at the first Kleinfeld salon at the Hudson’s Bay on Queen Street in Toronto.
